1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the undersigned, am the parent/guardian of the minor child named above, and I acknowledge and understand the potential risks associated with the use of the sauna, including but not limited to dehydration, overheating, heat exhaustion, and fainting. I understand that the sauna may not be suitable for all children and that proper safety measures must be followed to prevent injury or discomfort.
2. Parental Supervision Requirement
I acknowledge that the sauna may only be used by the minor child in the presence of a parent or legal guardian. I agree to remain in the sauna with my child at all times during the session and ensure that the child follows the appropriate safety protocols. I understand that if the child shows signs of distress, discomfort, or any health-related issues, I will immediately remove the child from the sauna.
3. Health Declaration
I declare that my child is in good health and has no medical conditions that would make sauna use unsafe, including but not limited to respiratory conditions, cardiovascular problems, or any other health concerns that could be aggravated by heat exposure. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional if I have any concerns regarding my child’s health and sauna use.
4. Compliance with Sauna Rules
I agree that my child and I will comply with all safety rules and regulations for sauna use as outlined by the facility. This includes but is not limited to:
No access to cold plunge or cold showers at any time
Limited exposure time (no more than 10-15 minutes at a time ages 13 - 16, 5-10 mins ages 5-13 and less than 5 minutes for 3 - 5 year olds. We do not recommend sauna for children under 3 years of age.
Staying hydrated by drinking water before, during, and after the session
Avoiding alcohol or any drugs that may impair judgment or bodily functions
No running or horseplay inside the sauna
No touching of any metal or glass surfaces – particular care must be taken around the fire & chimey area.
Using the sauna at appropriate temperatures as set by the facility
Only booking 'family sauna session' if you are a parent or guardian bringing a child. Access to the sauna cannot be granted otherwise and a refund will not be provided.
5. Liability Waiver
By signing this waiver, I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Kishtey Çheh its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while using the sauna.
I acknowledge that the use of the sauna is voluntary and that I am accepting full responsibility for my child’s participation.
6. Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I give my consent for emergency medical treatment to be administered to my child in case of illness, injury, or other health issues arising during sauna use. I agree to assume all financial and legal responsibility for any medical care or services provided.
